Founded in 2012 out of San Jose, California, Securly is the first completely cloud-based web filter that fully replaces traditional appliances, while built from the ground-up for the K-12 market. Securly seized the opportunity for a brand-new approach to web filtering and student safety for the education market, in the midst of schools transitioning to an increasing amount of mobile devices used in and out of school.
Securly’s student safety solutions provide protection for any device, anywhere leading the way with a cyber-bullying and self-harm detection system that identifies sentiments in statements on popular social media sites, as well as a full parental integration solution that gives parents the access and ability to monitor their kids’ activities on the web in and out of school.
